Lowfield Green in Acomb will soon be home to a vibrant community of residents who are not just buying a house but investing in a sustainable and affordable future.

An exciting housing project is breaking ground in York, offering a unique opportunity for homeownership and a sustainable future. Lowfield Green in Acomb will be home to a vibrant community, thanks to YorSpace, a non-profit housing organisation.

Their scheme offers residents the chance to buy homes at 75% of market value, ensuring long-term affordability. With 19 homes planned, Phase 1 is already underway, featuring a mix of terrace blocks with private and communal spaces designed to foster a sense of community.

The homes are being built to Passivhaus standards by Pure Haus, reducing emissions and energy bills. For future residents like Sue, it's a dream come true: "I want to live in this community, know my neighbours, and reduce our carbon footprint."

Applications are now open for locals to join this groundbreaking initiative. Get in touch with YorSpace to be a part of this exciting, sustainable future!
