Bishy Road and its community of independent shops and businesses, is a small stretch of Bishopthorpe Road and is arguably one of York’s most famous streets. Voted best high street in the UK in 2015, it's often described as the Notting Hill of the North... in my opinion, it's much better, but as a local resident, I'm biased!
 
The photographs show my process of creating the original screen print. I used a two screen process, and painted the masking block, by hand, onto the screen to create my image.

All artwork created in my York based studio and printed in York.

A4: 210mm x 297mm, 300gsm, silk
A3: 297mm x 420mm, 200gsm, silk
