Medium: Collage on Postcard
Size: Series: The Quick & Dirty Collection
Made from an old magazine on learning how to render 3D objects, this piece was an early collage of mine when I was starting to work again in collage, and as such illustrates the process behind learning (or in this case relearning) a new craft with all its possibilities and pitfalls. The idea behind using iconography of 3D modelling was that it represents malleability of form, appropriate for a medium focused on reinterpretation of the everyday into something new and exciting.
All the same dimensions, approximately 10x14cm, and mounted onto 3mm card backings. The backs are stamped with the name of the series, a signature, the title, and date of creation.
